emeis Excellence Awards: participative innovation rewarded
Open innovation is a reality at emeis! For the past 10 years, the Excellence Awards have been celebrating the creativity, initiative and innovation of our teams through original projects. Here's a look back at the 2024 edition!
A 10th anniversary under a new brand name
On 5 December 2024, almost 120 employees from France and abroad gathered in Paris to reward the most original and innovative initiatives aimed at improving our practices
The Excellence Awards ceremony, which is broadcast live and translated for our employees around the world, is also an opportunity to take an interest in current trends and open up a dialogue on their impact on our businesses. This year, Stéphane Mallard, a lecturer specialising in new technologies, took part in the event to build a bridge between AI and the healthcare professions, accompanied by Professor Pierre Krolak-Salmon, the Group's Medical Director, and Fabienne Dulac, Executive Vice President.
A strong mobilisation
A total of 107 projects from 14 countries were submitted this year, divided into 7 categories:
- Care innovation and research, which rewards unique initiatives aimed at improving the care provided to our residents and patients.
- Clinical ethics, which highlights our teams' commitment to ethical and respectful care.
- Employee Experience, which presents innovative programmes and projects aimed at improving the experience of our teams, from recruitment and integration to retention and quality of life at work.
- 1000 Smiles, which rewards original initiatives aimed at bringing smiles, energy and optimism to residents, patients and those who care for them.
And 3 new categories:
- Biodiversity, which highlights initiatives to integrate biodiversity and biophilia into our activities.
- Territorial anchoring, which rewards all the actions of our establishments as social and local players.
- Operational performance, which covers all initiatives aimed at improving the customer experience, the operational quality of teams and the layout of spaces.
These categories reflect all our commitments, whether in terms of care, support for employees, passing on a taste for life, ethical practices or respect for the environment. And, as every year, our employees around the world have redoubled their spirit of innovation and creativity.
After deliberation by a jury made up of employees and members of the Management Board, one project was selected per category.
And the winners are...
