emeis’ post-acute and rehabilitation clinics, collectively striving to rehabilitate the vulnerable among us
Following surgery or an accident and during periods of chronic disease, our Medical Care and Rehabilitation clinics seek to help people regain their full independence.
Implementing a broad range of personalised care solutions
Why the name change?
In the wake of France’s national reform on health in June 2023, Post-Acute Care and Rehabilitation hospitals have become Medical Care and Rehabilitation clinics, providing more extensive early rehabilitation services.
This name change enables emeis to more accurately reflect the day-to-day activities of its facilities, aimed at consolidating the position of clinics as they coordinate patient care pathways. Medical Care and Rehabilitation clinics play a pivotal role, liaising with short-term care establishments and homes in the initial stages and patients’ living spaces in the latter phase, whether at their place of residence or another form of accommodation.
When exactly do you admit a person to a Medical Care and Rehabilitation clinic?
You may require rehabilitation to readapt to daily life on the back of extensive surgery, a life accident or an acute episode of chronic illness. In such times of need, our Medical Care and Rehabilitation clinics are on hand to support and care for you.
Working in tandem with our medical and paramedical teams, we develop your personalised care programme, with a focus on rebuilding independence and improving quality of life.
Assisting patients at their own pace
Our Medical Care and Rehabilitation clinics actively operate in several European countries, treating patients, whether they require full- or part-time hospitalisation.
Our doctors, caregivers, physiotherapists and general staff will attend to your needs, monitoring your progress while avoiding any relapses or complications.
Delivering comprehensive, complementary and custom-designed healthcare
